Visually sleek and futuristic, the Metal model was designed for over-the-top brutal metal sounds that are still articulate and expressive as well as being versatile for various other genres of music. The model name doesn’t mean it was meant for metal only! Underneath the metallic gloss finish, the body consists of Basswood for full-sounding midrange that is mated with plain Maple top to provide a fast transient attack and high-end brilliance. The neck features roasted Maple neck with Ebony fretboard for a fast and sleek feel as well as a meaty yet cutting sound. The Metal models all feature the innovative Fishman Fluence pickups that combine the best of what active pickups offer with the sound and feel of passive pickups, making it an incredibly versatile instrument for many other genres besides metal.
