Q. How do you compare the Ampero Mini with other multi-effects processors?
Subharaj: Especially considering the price point, it’s at the top of its game!
Q. Can you describe your initial impressions of the sound quality and versatility of the Ampero Mini?
Subharaj: So unlike a lot of other multi-effects I have tried in the past, the Ampero mini comes with presets that are actually usable and volume-balanced well.
Q. As a touring musician, what do you think about Ampero Mini’s portability during travel and setup logistics?
Subharaj: I am not much of a touring musician, not yet at least, but all I had to do was keep this in the top pocket of my gig bag and head to my gigs, plug and play. I think that says a lot about the portability and setup.
Q. How intuitive did you find the user interface and menu navigation on the Ampero Mini?
Subharaj: It’s totally straightforward to use thanks to the touch screen.
Q. Have you experimented with creating and storing presets on the Ampero Mini? How was your experience?
Subharaj: Yes! It was a breeze, and it also gave me a good sense of the possibilities of the product.
Q. For guitarists looking to achieve a signature sound, how customizable is the Ampero Mini to fit different musical styles?
Subharaj: The Ampero mini can put all the multi-effects units we grew up with to shame Evan though some of them were twice the price.
Q. What advice would you give to fellow musicians who are considering the Ampero Mini as their next gear investment, based on your firsthand experience?
Subharaj: Consider getting the external foot switch for it, that will open up more functionality.
Q. What specific features of the Ampero Switch do you find most beneficial during recordings?
Subharaj: Definitely the plug-and-play audio interface and the free software for creating and storing patches. It’s available on their website.

Q. What are your thoughts about the Hotone Press pedals and controllers? Which ones stood out the most and why?
Subharaj: Firstly, all the press pedals look and feel solid! They all have a nice textured pad on the foot pedal area so your foot is NOT going to slip out AT ALL.
Each of the press pedals does their respective jobs beautifully and being compact with LED indicators makes life that much easier in terms of portability and pedalboard real estate.
The Patch Kommander is the solution that guitar players need in terms of preserving our signal chain. Using 4 individual loops, you can configure your chain however you want with the push of a button.
Additionally, it also has a separate tuner output, a switchable buffer, and an A/B switch input for your amp!
Q. How would you rate Hotone products over the competition?
Subharaj: Hotone products have shown me that if brands want, they can provide us with high-quality sound and build at reasonable costs.
Q. How would you describe Hotone products to someone who has never tried them?
Subharaj: Best mid-range option for professional musicians!
Q. Describe Hotone products in 3 words.
Subharaj: Solid Portable Sound!
