Ferrosilicon Fuzz Pedal w/ Neve Transformer

Bogner Oxford Fuzz Pedal

Craft fuzz tones ranging from subtle grit to glitchy pandemonium with the Bogner Oxford. This pedal sounds incredible — a ferrosilicon transistor and Rupert Neve-designed transformer combine to produce consistent, organic-sounding tones with astonishing touch sensitivity. Its Gain and Fuzz switches access six different fuzz combinations that sound incredible at any volume. The Oxford employs bulletproof construction, including a rugged metal enclosure, top-shelf components, and a temperature-resistant transistor. If you’re searching for a premium fuzz pedal with infinite tonal possibilities, Bogner’s Oxford should be at the top of your list.

From clean boost to spitting fuzz — the Oxford does it all

The Oxford takes you from a near clean boost to classic ’60s-style fuzz and beyond. Its Rupert Neve-designed transformer and ferrosilicon design achieves subtle, amp-like breakup that reacts dynamically to your playing. But flip the Gain switch to the + position, and you’ll be greeted with thick harmonic layers and endless sustain. Then crank the Gain knob and prepare yourself for a glitchy, spitting fuzz tone that demands to be heard. At Sweetwater, we have yet to make the Oxford sound bad — it’s amazing throughout its entire operating range.

3 flavors of fuzz — a tone for every occasion

Forge smooth tones with fatness and warmth. Achieve gnarly, glitchy fuzz. Craft musical noise that responds to your commands. Whatever sound you’re aiming for, the Oxford can do it. Its three-way Fuzz switch’s Darker, Dark, and Bright settings tailor your tone’s overall character, while the Gain knob kicks up the intensity. Combining the Gain and Fuzz switches unlocks endless tonal possibilities.

The man behind the amps

Though Reinhold Bogner began designing and building amplifiers long before leaving Germany for the U.S. in 1989, his career really took off soon after arriving in Los Angeles. He quickly gained the trust of many influential players including Steve Stevens, Dan Huff, Allan Holdsworth, Mike Landau, and Steve Vai, who all sought out his skill of modifying and custom building their amps. Eddie Van Halen entrusted Reinhold to overhaul and revitalize his number one Marshall Plexi, and the results were great. Soon after, Bogner Amplification was born, and the rest, as they say, is history.
