Not only does this let you practice on the Tourmaster 4212, but it’s also perfect for finding the sweet spot for your amp at any gig. Any tube amp sounds its best when you’re pushing it hard, and the power grid lets you get that cranked-amp sound at any volume level. So if you’re playing big enough gigs to use the full 100 watts, go for it – you can still dial it down to 10 watts for practicing in the basement.
