Let’s delve into why Shrikant opted for Strandberg guitars as his preferred instrument for musical expression.

Q. What initially drew you to Strandberg guitars, and how did you first become aware of the brand?

Shrikant: I got to know about Strandberg when I started listening to Plini. The headless guitar, size, and sleekness immediately caught my attention.

Q. Tell us about your guitar. Can you describe the specific features or innovations of Strandberg guitars that attracted you to them?

Shrikant: I have a ‘Boden NX Standard 6 Tremolo’ which I bought from The Stockist in February 2023. I believe that Strandberg guitars provide the best ergonomics which is really important for guitarists who perform regularly.

Q. How did your experience playing a Strandberg guitar differ from playing more traditional models?

Shrikant: Strandberg guitars are lightweight which keeps my shoulder and back relaxed on stage. I no longer worry about carrying the guitar while touring. The endure neck is the best feature of this guitar.

Q. Did you face any challenges or adjustments when transitioning to playing a Strandberg guitar, considering its unique design?

Shrikant: Initially it felt a bit weird not having a headstock, but I got used to it quickly. Other than that, I loved everything about the guitar. So switching from a traditional guitar to a Strandberg wasn’t challenging for me at all.

Q. What role did the ergonomics and comfort of a Strandberg guitar play in your decision to invest in one?

Shrikant: I simply wanted a small and lightweight guitar for touring, something that I could sit and play for a longer time. The build quality is top-notch, the comfort and the sound of these guitars are unbeatable.

Q. Could you share any memorable experiences or performances you’ve had while using your Strandberg guitar?

Shrikant: On one of our US tour concerts, I happened to break a string in the middle of the performance, and, trust me, it took me not more than a minute to change the string and get back to playing. Even changing strings is super easy on a Strandberg.

Q. In what ways do you feel that owning a Strandberg guitar has influenced your playing style or musical creativity?

Shrikant: Ever since I started following Strandberg on social media, I have come across some incredible guitarists who have influenced and inspired me to play modern style and contemporary music.

Q. How would you describe the tonal characteristics of a Strandberg guitar compared to other guitars you’ve played?

Shrikant: I have mostly played PRS and Fender guitars throughout my career, and I could seamlessly transition to Strandberg. The tone is clean and balanced with the ability to cover a wide range of genres.

Q. For aspiring musicians considering investing in a Strandberg guitar, what advice or insights would you offer based on your own experience with the brand?

Shrikant: Strandberg guitars are not cheap but definitely worth every penny investing in one. Premium quality and very well-engineered guitars which are not compromised in any way.

Q. Many musicians cite the weight and balance of a guitar as crucial factors in their performance. How does Strandberg address these concerns, and how does it affect your stage presence and endurance during long gigs?

Shrikant: The lightweight with perfect balance allows me to play comfortably without any strain on stage. Can’t ask for anything better.

Q. The guitar-building industry is known for its rich heritage and tradition. What do you think sets Strandberg apart from more conventional brands, and how do you see the company influencing the future of guitar design?

Shrikant: I feel more guitar companies will now incorporate ergonomic features focusing on weight, size and comfort.

Q. How do you think Strandberg guitars have contributed to pushing the boundaries of modern music, and do you foresee any new developments or innovations from the brand in the future?

Shrikant: In the guitar world where there are so many choices, Strandberg guitars are an easy go-to because of the design, ergonomics, and innovative features. Strandberg has come a long way in such a short time. The future is exciting and I can’t wait to see what’s next.

Q. Finally, if you had to sum up your experience with Strandberg guitars in just a few words, what would you say to aspiring musicians considering making the switch?

Shrikant: If not having a headstock isn’t a problem, then go for a Strandberg and you will never regret it.
