Iconic ’80s Chorus and Much More
Keeley dyno
The Keeley Dyno My Roto Tri-chorus effects pedal crams the lush sound of some of the most popular rackmount chorus units from the 1980s into a pedalboard-friendly stomp box. With knobs for Rate, Depth, Texture, and Blend, you’re able to find the exact modulated tone you’re looking for. But it doesn’t end there. The Dyno My Roto also contains rotary and flanger effects that exude the same analog warmth and great control as the tri-chorus setting. Pedal companies have been struggling for years to replicate the sound of those rack units. With the Dyno My Roto, Keeley nailed it.
Tri-chorus
If you turned on the radio in the 1980s, chances are you heard the modulated tones of chorused guitars. And the Dyno My Piano rackmount chorus unit was usually the piece of gear that delivered the goods. Ever since the ’80s, pedal companies have been searching for a way to put those analog choruses into a pedal. But their complex design made it exceedingly difficult. Luckily for all of us, Robert Keeley found a way. The Dyna My Roto effects pedal puts those famous and infamous tones at your feet with an authenticity that has never before been achieved.
Rotary speaker simulation
Once Keeley got the tri-chorus sound where they wanted it, they kept on going. With a flick of the face-mounted mini toggle switch you can also pull up a great-sounding rotary speaker simulation. The same pedal that plants your tone firmly in the 1980s can also allow you to cop faux organ parts. And you can even control the proximity effect, making it sound like you’re closer or further from the rotating speaker cabinet. This really helps you dial in your sound.
Rotoflange
Inside the Dyna My Roto you have a beautiful-sounding analog chorus and rotary speaker simulation, so why not also add in a flanger? That’s just what Robert Keeley did. A single control will determine the amount of swoosh and depth that envelops your guitar tone. And it exudes the same analog warmth as the other effects in the pedal. This flanger sounds so good, many Sweetwater guitarists would have it on their pedalboard if it was the only effect the Dyna My Roto offered.
